Madrid Madrid have 85 km of roads with guard rails

The Madrid will soon have 85 more miles of roads safe for motorists guardrails. Eight-way will be installed in Madrid: M-311, F-507, F-510, F-600, F-604, F-611, F-614 and M-623.

The objective is to improve the safety of motorists 213,000 locals and thousands of other parts of Spain and world travel the region on two wheels.

The plan, unveiled last September 9, 2010 by Vice President and spokesman of the Government of the Comunidad de Madrid, Ignacio González, includes an initial investment of 2.2 billion euros to 23.7 kms of barriers those eight roads, with a lead time of eight months. Later the project expanded to 85 kilometers, which is counted a total of 170 miles of track protected by guard rails around Madrid.

This initiative is part of the Comprehensive Road Safety Strategy for engines, the January 30, 2009 was launched by the Community of Madrid in an act that is committed to working initialed by the president of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, and presidents of associations of Mutual bikers Bikers Bikers and Control.
