In the end I could go to Wacken, at the invitation of Dirk, a friend who is engaged in the production of poles, and like all the a & ntildeos printed a few hundred poles to the organization.
In this a & ntildeo what most struck me was Whiplash, a band that I loved ever since I met her "Power and Pain", and I never thought I could see a concert of "The Three Tonys," and indeed there is only one of them, Tony Portaro, vocalist and guitarist, Tony Scaglione, who once replaced the very Lombardo in Slayer, has a big job and a family to support, and unfortunately Tony Bono died in 2002 of a heart attack.
In this concert at Wacken played alongside former Kreator, Sodom, Frank Blackfire, but only a few songs on drums was Joe Cangelosi, who recorded with Whiplash one of the best records in the history of Heavy Metal Thrash to I think, "Insult to Injury", if someone reads this and has not heard this record, you must do it now.
Anyway, as I always gave the job to record two songs the concert, and I was lucky with the choice, and they played just Powerthrashing Death and Nailed to the Cross, Power and Pain issues, I must say that I was about to turn off my camera yet I refrained, because I wanted to break my neck these songs, but I did not miss the opportunity to take material from this great band, here's the video I want to share with everyone via You Tube.
